Akakura Onsen is surrounded by natural beauty and has a range of exciting things to offer just a short drive away in both summer and winter. Visit the bathing snow monkeys in the winter, or take the hotel shuttle bus to Ikenotaira, Suginohara, Madarao ski resorts. We can assist you with private ski and snowboard guides as well as back country tours.
In summer hike the surrounding forests and nature trails, head to Lake Nojiri or spend the day exploring the breathtaking Naena Falls. Enquire at hotel reception for more information or to book your tour.
